Tests & Examinations for EFL/ESL Students

There is a wide range of tests and examinations designed to measure the English-language competence of people whose mother tongue is not English. The majority of them originate in the United Kingdom or the United States. Many of them focus on the candidate's ability to function in a specific environment, though some are of a more general nature:
