there is some reason that we have to analyse why she doesn't want to receive telephone,
maybe she still not belive you, or still not like you much yet , if the reason is like that, yea of course we have to respect it.I am sure by the time she will allow u to telephone her as long as you care with your online comunication.

may be its too early for her to talk with u over the phone. she hasnt gain the confidence that she could rely on u by giving her phone number.

to be honest with ya...i take time to talk with a person specially guys over the phone, it doesnt matter he is from my real life or the net life.

Looks like you're describing me. Recently, an EC friend requested me to talk on the phone and I said no for a simple reason: I just don't like to talk on the phone and I totally dread to talk on the phone IN ENGLISH. I just don't feel confident I've talked to most of my internet pals by phone but not in English. Anyway, boys and girls, I'm slowly changing my mind, call me anytime!

I only talk by phone with my father, maybe one or two coworkers, one or two friends.
Sometimes I´d like to have lot of friends to talk with, even in English, but I never stay to much time.
