World is getting hotter

I hear that scientist says the globe "earth" will be more hotter than now by 2020, because of the north ices will be melted and the ocean surface will be raised to six meter.... :arrow:

does it have actuality? Or just I heard. If you know anything about this issue please, share here. :?:

Scientists don't know for sure. Many scientists disagree.

In all cases, our actions have consequences on Earth health. So, the "I don't care" is not aloud.

The Earth has gone through many global warming and cooling, so I don't think this is a shocking news. We're in the time period that is near the mass extinction, anyway.

Global warming is just one of disasters that we'll face to face with.
Besides it, there're
+ sources of energy : at the moment we burn far too many fossil fuels such as gas and coal which pullte the air and cause acid rain; petrol creates carbon dioxide, oil pollutes the seas...We will need to develop new and alternative sources of energy in the future.
+ destruction of the rainforests
+ toxic waste

In every age mass extinctions happen. Before dinosaurs many creatures must have died out too.
However I claim nowadays the problem isn't as large-scale as it used to be in dinosaurs time.
