I'm not good at speaking English neither, but I hope my advice will help you speak English.
First, how about reading books or magazines out loud?
I think it will be the practice before talking with the others.
And, what about watching movies without subtitle?
It will be helpful for your English listening.

Yes, dmswn is right. If you are still not confident speaking or writing in English, you can practice by reading books and magazines aloud. It helps train your ears in discerning what sounds correct and what doesn't.
