Every country has its own law and orders for a specific crime. Law is very important to prevent crimes. I cant describe alot about the topic, since you havent mentioned any particular crime so I could mention about the punishment for that in my country

crimes are the violation of the rules and regulation of the country.each country have their own laws.the type of the punishment also varies according to countries.most of the punishment for crime is imprisonement for various years and rarely death penalty for major crimes
