How to change my accent?

Hey,
So I have a problem. For some reason I have this weird English accent. I was born in the usa so idk why I have it. My parents taught me polish when i was younger, but its not like its the main language i use, and even now I don't really speak polish to people. To me, my voice sounds fine, but when I record it, it sounds so bad, does not even sound like a polish accent. Could it be that its because of my broken nose? Ever since i was young, the cartilage in my nose is bent to the left. You cant really tell that it is but I can definitely feel it. You think getting it fixed would change anything? also my nose is usually somewhat clogged up.
