Halloween

Halloween is coming.
Few people in Taiwan will celebrate Halloween.
Do you have a habit to celebration Halloween?
What do you do in addition to candy in Halloween?

Yes.
This once a year event is celebrated in schools. Some schools hold a costume parade in their school campuses, while everyone rejoices in observing the creativity of each of the students. This is also celebrated by some establishments or offices seeking relief from hard day's work. Treat giving is also observed as this symbolizes the giving of alms. Each family celebrates this season too but in a lot of different ways because this is the season where people come to reunite with their old folks (from the cities, or provinces) in preparation for All Souls' Day.
For us, All Saints'/Souls's Day (Nov.1 -2) is the time for alms giving and prayers for the dead.

Good day to all!
