First time I saw this movie was in a English lesson. It's very suit for student to see especially someone who learn ecomonic. It tell us to insist on,to keep hope and knowlegde importance. Yesterday,I bought it's dvd in a small shop and read it again.
Tim robbins plays a banker in the story,Andy Dufresne, who has been falsely convicted of murdering his wife and her lover. But in the prison,he never lose hope.He uses 20 years to get though a way to freedom and make use of her knowledge to win a good condition in the prison and punish the hypocritical warden at the end.Maybe it's too heroic for andy's performance, but I like this role.
Morgan freeman play another main role in the story, the only guilty man in shawshank prison." What Freeman does so beautifully is to slightly underplay the part so that the eternal boredom and cynicism of the lifer comes through, and yet we can see how very much alive with the warmth of life the man is despite his confinement. "Actually,in my opinion, although he shun talking the hope, freedom, he also never give up.
