My poem...

The pain just grew and grew

Image

but now it stopped.

Smile appears through tears,

The pain is leaving my heart and fading away

When

I realize that anyway it was time to cut

The thread

That

Bound us together.

Look at these pictures drawn so well,

They are for you.

Look at what I made for you

And look at

The world

I gave to you.

But

It was never enough.

I wish I never said

that

I loved you.

But I did and now regret.

Goodbye goodbye goodbye.

Cut up love.

Cut up.

Oh, I’ve seen this painting before. It is The Scream by Edward Munch (he’s one of my favorite artists). So you associate this painting with pain? I’ve always thought of it as representing fear. Oh well, we all are different and we see the world and things around us differently.
I must say the poem is incredible. It really touches one’s heart

Thank you guys, your opinion means much for me.

Cypress, yes, you are right – different people have different opinions, but isn’t a fear is a part of pain? This amazing art work became a symbol of loneliness of a man in our modern world – you see there is a couple of people on the background that are contrasted with a lonely man. Also, he screams. Why do people scream that way? When they feel something really bad, right? In this case it can be anything like fear, inner pain, broken heart, or loneliness, whatever. This art work is full of emotions, different emotions, you even can see the story of it, and as I’m the painter, I know that every art work has its story; so the main goal of painter is to tell that story to everybody. If you can get the story, then it means the painter fulfilled his work. That’s why I like “The Scream” - I heart it.
