Tom's Drawing

Tom's Drawing

Tom was a pitiful kid. When he was two years old, both his parents died. In the school,

he was teased by other students. Moreover, he was maltreated by his brother Aaron

and stepmother Marisa at home. Sorrowfully, he relied on drawing to dissolve the

solitude from his mind. However, because he could not put up with the apathy of the

world, he committed suicide when he was ten years old. A day, Marisa found a drawing

in Tom’s drawer. It depicted that both Marisa and Aaron were killed by a sickle ghostly.

It was so blooding that she scared and ran away from the chamber. Soon, they moved

to other place. In the winter of the next year, they came back the house and attempted

to sell it and slept in their original room at night. Strangely, they heard the sound of

the pencil sharpener all the night. In the end, they followed the sound to Tom’s

chamber and saw that Tom was drawing the same illustration. When Tom draw that

they were bleeding in the illustration, they were bleeding in the real world. Eventually,

the way of their dying was synonymous with Tom’s work.

Hi!Benson:

I don't realize this sentence clearly"the way of their dying was synonymous with Tom’s work".

What's that mean?

Hi! Carrot:
Think for you questeion.
This sentence means when Tom draw Aaron and Marisa are killed by an ax in Tom's drawing, they are slaughter by an ax simultaneously in real world.
Therefore, "the way of their dying was synonymous with Tom’s work".
