is "nowadays" out of the date?
:( My English teacher told me not to use “nowadays”, she said the Englishmen don’t use it. Is it out of the date? Please tell me, and would you tell me some words which is out of the date but we still use it usually.

You don't hear it much nowadays in the U.S.
