The road had a new wet patch, which I sourced back to my car.”

This doesn't quite make sense the word 'new' seeming to not be required. However a straight translation is that the source of the wet patch on the road was caused by your car.

But! the statement would require further explanation such as "the source of the wet patch on the road was my car." Then the explanation such as "my car has a leaking radiator" or maybe "my air conditioner was dripping"
