Please clarify the use of at and in with morning, afternoon, evening and night.
1. i will come in in the morning.
2. She is going to visit me in the afternoon.
3. i 'm normally here at night.
Please point out the mistakes cos i feel something is not right here

yeah, previous message is right and i would like to add a suggestion
maybe you can change " i will" to i'll.

Re: At the morning / in the morning
'I will come in in the morning' is technically correct. With only one 'in', the sentence has a different meaning. To make it sound better, you could say "I will come in tomorrow morning' but the 'in' after 'come' has to stay.Awence wrote:Please clarify the use of at and in with morning, afternoon, evening and night.

Both 2 and 3 are correct apart from the lower-case 'i' starting 3 (and 1).
