You should google "past perfect" and you'll get a good explanation

Well dear, in my oppinion, the differerence here is just the purpose of the speaker.
eg: She ate vs She has eaten
U can say that" she ate" as U just wanna notice the listener that somebody( she) did do an action, she siply ate .
as u say, "she has eaten", U wanna emphasis that somebody( she) did eat and the action has just happended in a few minutes or a short time before the time U say .
However, in spoken english( not academic english), U are free to use any of those tenses to describe the idea without any concern.^^. Hope that help

I went: it's mean u goes somewhere and finish it in the past.....

I have gone: it's mean u goes somewhere but u still there....(May be u ought to be at home at that time)

She ate: it's mean she eat something and finish and may be the dish is cleaned.........

She has eaten: it's mean she eat but she still eat and may be she will finish in unexpected time....

There's no difference between She has got a long hair and She has a long hair because they have the same meaning....

went ~ simple past aspect
have (has) gone ~ present perfect aspect.

I went to the cinema last night.
I went to the "Orion" cinema.

Where is Peter?
He's gone.
Where did he go?
He went to the cinema.
Did he say for how long he would stay there?
No he didn't.

Hey Peter, please try to grab and take hold the end of this rope.
Peter: 'I've got it.
Did you get it easy?
Yes I did.
Would you please leave it now.
Ok. I've just left the rope out of my hands.
