Word for French cooking style

Postby silkenrock » Sat Apr 11, 2009 5:46 am

Please help me find the word expressing a typical French food style. By that way, they display just a little food on a pure white plate, sometimes, with sauce.

I believe French cooking is refered to as "French cuisine".

"Gourmet" is a general food term that might also be helpful. It is used to describe a high quality dish.
