final double consonants 'll'

Postby kimeuna » Wed Apr 28, 2010 8:11 am

I am engaged in English materials for young kids and now I am wondering the final double consonants 'll' can be sounded out separately from words. We are thinking to record the target sound alone. Could you help me?

Can you give examples? Presumably you mean in words like:
ill
all
well

Yes.
We were thinking to record the isolated sound of "ll" first and record the sounds of 'ball', 'doll', 'tall', 'small'.
But one of the native speakers said that the phoneme 'll' might not be separated from words to be recorded. What do you think?
