I've never heard for the expressions like run-on sentence, parallel construction, subject-verb agreement, pronoun reference, verb tense shift, etc.

Ok, why 9 - "c"?

as***as form is used.
C could also be said this way I think
Nowadays, reading newspapers is far less popular than Internet.
B and D could also be correct sentences.
A isn't because, I suppose, the author didn't want to say that he prefers squids to Tabitha. :lol: (If Tabitha's the name of a female.)
