Possessive form for non-living things

Post by DevDev »

We normally use 'of the' form here, like 'wheels of the car', etc.

Now, when we talk about period, for example, month, week, etc.

We are using a month's time, a week's time, etc.

There are cases, we are using 'last day of the month', not as 'month's last day'

I understand, this can be exceptions, please share more details, thank you.
