please correct my grammar mistakes,thanks.
'I have English tests next month therefore I have been studying English very hard recently so as to push my English to the acme before taking the tests'.

How about something like:

I have English tests next month; therefore, I have recently been studying very hard so as to thoroughly understand the material before taking the tests.
