Introverted children or introvert children?

Hi, I need you to help me with the following doubt I have

which one do I have to use Introverted children or introvert children?

are they both correct or not?

introvert is a noun: this child is an introvert

What you need is an adjective qualifying children.
The normal adjective is "introverted": introverted children
But "introvert" can also be used as an adjective: introvert children

Long story short, both are possible.

Same applies to extroverted, extrovert
