Grammar Help

Post by Muhayyo »

Hello!
Please help me with this test. In my opinion, the meanings of these words (either and too) are the same. What are the differences of these 2 words?
They don't want to leave their job. They don't want to move to another city...
a)either b)also c)too d)neither

"either, too, as well" would work, in my opinion.
"neither" would make double negation so it wouldn't work according to British English grammar.
"also", personally, I use it at the begining of a sentence, and not at the end.

Yes, in certain contexts the meanings of them are the same. Please note that the former is used in negations whereas the latter is used in affirmative sentences.
