I wonder if the meaning of [b]a jerk [/b]in the Philippines is different than in the US. Here in the States, [i]a jerk[/i] means a foolish, rude, or contemptible person. By what you're saying, I think it's different in the Phillipines then. Quite interesting.[/quote]

Hi,there...My name is PloY. I live in Bangkok,Thailand. I've found EC by seaching for some good and free websites providing lessons that will help me improve my English. I've studied English since I was 7 and now I'm nearly 24 I am still not able to write,to listen and to speak English fluently. I find it difficult to improve these skills since I've merely used English in my daily life. I'm now studying in my sixth year at the faculty of Dentistry and I'm planing to continue my study abroad so I have to revise communicative skills in English in order to be ready for the next-generation TOEFL test.

Nice to meet you all......Now I've already set this site as a "HOME" webpage. See you :-P
