I'm not currently living in SEA, but I was born in Vietnam. Surely that should account for something.

South, some 6 hours east from Saigon. Well, 6 hours, Vietnam driving style. I have no recollection of the small town's name. :?

Motobike's speed or four-wheeled motor vehicles? I think you meant four-wheeled motor vehicles, so my guess for the town would be either near Nha Trang or Da Lat, depending on which direction you'll take. :? Hmmm... is it right?!?!??!?!!?

Most Vietnamese members here are Northern Vietnamese, so it's different to meet a Southern Vietnamese although you're not Saigonese......

It would be awesome if you know the name of that little town. I've been to Song Mao and I think my birth town resembles that in size. But then again, not many Saigonese knew about Song Mao. :?

Actually, I'm not Vietnamese. Well, not by blood, anyway. I know the Chinese name of the the town. It's Fan Lei (Phonetic spelling). Does this help? I'm guessing you are a southerner.

Sounds like Phan Ri to me. But then I don't know Chinese. Maybe my cousin will know since he knows Chinese well.
