I know both movies, but I prefer LEON....even though it's a killer movie, I feel pathos.
And besides Jean Reno is familiar among Japanese movie fans.
I know American and European movies better than Asians due to learn English. Sorry ;)

Hi Unknownsu, all of the movies in your recommentations are available in Hong Kong, but i have seen only some of them. here is my feetback.

My Tutor Friend – I know this movie, but have never seen it.
Will try later.
The Classic (Korean) – I have DVD, but no time to see it.
A Tale of Two Sisters (Korean) – will try later
Memories of Murder (Korean) - Something about this movie leaves you in awe. It's based on a true story.
Satorare: Tribute to a Sad Genius (Japanese) – I have seen this one, very interesting. Japanese is so creative.
Ong Bak aka Thai Warrior (Thai) - Tony Jaa is excellent. But the story is too simple, just “lost and found”, no more no less.

Yeah, I know that DVD is much better than VCD, but its price is higher than VCD too. But usually i will buy DVD instead when it is on sale.

Ok, the movie was quite okay to me. Nice shoots. The plot was simple, but some parts they presented were kinda weird to me. It was really weird that they had a part the guy was having intercourse with his lover's statue. It was sick and confusing :? .

This is what I was watching last night after getting back from the Me Thao movie. This is called Spirits or Oan Hon in Vietnamese. Check its official site, http://www.spiritsthemovie.com/ Darn, the movie was soooooo frigging scary that I had to force myself to sleep last night so I wouldn't have nightmares. My sister stayed up watching it with my uncle and as a result, she couldn't sleep. She woke my uncle up to talk to her. He was talking to her with one of his eyes closed. LOL  .....

I haven't seen any Korean movies lately. I'm still hanging over My Sassy Girl :D . That girl is cool.

Then you should watch her in Windstruck. Same director, same girl, same chick-flick kind of movie.

I love Korean cinemas and Korean movies too! Actually, I am a big fan of Korean culture. In Korea, there are lots of souvenirs in the cinema for the viewers to collect, it’s really a successful promotion. And of course, we can collect the films-related products of the famous Korean stars, too.
Moreover, besides the Korean movies, I love Japanese films and Thai films too, especially the horror films. There are no aliens or terrible dead bodies, but just the atmosphere of horror, which make me feel excited and scared.
I would like to introduce some movies to all of you, it is THREE, combined with three little stories from Hong Kong, Korea and Thailand. I love this movie very much coz it is really fantastic and I do have some reflection after watching it.
