It's still better than Vietnam. It's really hard to study abroad in Vietnam since most people are not as rich compared to people in other Asian countries.

I've just watched a documentary about Bali island in Indonesia. It was amazingly beautiful with a rich culture embraced deep in each individual on that island. That documentary was paid by tourist agency to PBS to get more tourists to the island. It did work. More and more people get to know the island because the documentary was well-done. Anyway, welcome you to Asia forum, Pina  .

Hi, thanks for welcome me. I am from Indonesia and now live in San Diego. I used to work in Bintan resort before, and Bintan is far from Bali, but Bintan is closed to S'pore, 45 minutes by ferry.

Cool. I have never been to San Diego, but I will drive down there in the future, and then I will drive to Mexico for a week also. It's been my dream. The only thing is I haven't had time to do it.
Anyway, have you been to Bali or Singapore? Is your culture like Bali? Indonesia has thousands of islands, and each island carries on each culture, right?
