Some do, some don't. I have to say their look is really clean and exotic.

I also learnt a lot they are not stars on tvnews. they are same as chinese ladies. there are beauty and common co-existing.there are a lot of favourable chinese stars also. and I also learnt from other countries, and different parts for china, wherever, there are beauty and "ugly" co-existing too. it is just like where we go there are all kinds characteristic people.

Yeah, like Chinese girls in the North or Japanese girls.

That's right. Vanilla.
In Japan prastic surgery is not common and most of Japanese men and women don't think that it is good.
But I can't tell which is good or bad because they can choose
it at their own discretion.

I don't know much about Korean actress but recently I watched Korean drama which was acted Bae yon jong and Che Jiw (these names must be wrong spelling) . I don't know the title but this drama was blockbuster in Japan a few years ago.
Che Jiw is very beautiful her skin is like as white as snow.
I like her face even if she had had a plastic surgery.
I think the technique of plastic surgery is far higher than that of Japan, and its costs are much cheaper than Japan.

Does anybody know of the English title?
If you happen to know the name, please tell me.

Really? I thought Japan is well-known for high technology; therefore, it's good for plastic surgery although not many Japanese do it. People from other countries come to Japan for plastic surgery though.
I've read an article long time ago about Korean women. I was doing a research on their culture and stuff. That article was from a Korean woman who was telling that Korean girls had eyelid surgery when they was very little. It's because most Korean are not born with double eyelid eyes. Quite interesting to know.

Sorry, but actually I don't know much about plastic sugery circumstances in Japan. You've checked them up very well.

I don't know much about it either. I've heard from others whenever they talk about plastic surgery, they would talk about Japan although Korean has better price. Japan is too well-known in technology; therefore, it's more trusted in this area than Korean, I guess. I'll check around to see the facts, anyway.
I think right now Korean look is a fashion trend in Vietnam. One of my cousins looks Korean and gosh when she was back, everyone asked her if she was a Korean model. Some even came up to her and tried to speak English to her because they thought she was Korean. It was funny. Something I've found out is really weird to me is that people with dark skin want to have light skin, and people with light skin want to have dark skin. I guess no one ever satisfies with their natural personal possessions.

I'm Vietnamese, Meg. Yeah, the grass is always greener on the side of the fence to most people. Caucasian people in the U.S go to tanning booths or go tan themselves to get darker while people in Vietnam go to lighting booths (don't know how it's supposed to be called here) to light their skin lighter  . I read it in a magazine when I was there. It was an ad about some beauty salon that had that kinda booth. I and my family were laughing so hard when I was reading the ad to them.
I remember when I was there, some cousins of mine from France coming back to Vietnam for a visit. One of them loved to tan herself. Everyday around noon she would get a chair to our top level to tan herself. By the time she got back to France, she was caramel and not vanilla anymore  .
