Lucky to me, I found your mistake. The post is right but the figure you gave is not very right. Vietnam's economy is going to be the 56th largest one in the world in the future but not now. We are 57th now![]()
Anyways, I am very admire your knowledge. Thanks for all what you helped me.
Hung,
On the website I sent you in my previous post Vietnam is 56th on the list by the World Bank; however on the list by the IMF Vietnam is 57th. Thus, I said 56th something, which also meant I wasn't sure about our position was 56th or 57th. And I think you got them backward.
"The first list was produced by the World Bank in July 2005 for GDP figures of 2004 based on what has already happened. The second list includes ranking for the world economies with for the year 2004 produced by the International Monetary Fund in April 2005 based on projections for what is expected to happen."
Thus, according to this explanation that site has, right now we're 56th, but we might be 57th depending on how our economy goes. Got anything more to say, sir?
And thanks for your compliment. The credit will go to my boyfriend who showed me the site when we were discussing it a month ago. By the way, it's nice to see you back to Asia forum.
