Yeah, I don't think Vietnam could join WTO this year. There are still so many disagreements between the two sides (Vietnam and other countries). China is a great obstacle for Vietnam on the way to WTO. I hope this rocky way doesn't last so long.

Other countries are afraid of Vietnamese's laws and economy. As long as those two are fixed and improved, the chances to get into WTO will definitely be high.

The Vietnam goverment still have not negociated with US and China, therefore it's difficult for VN to join WTO.
I think Vietnam join WTO this year or at the beginning of 2006 that is utopian

Yeah, I totally agree with you that Vietnam won't able to join WTO this year because of many problems. But I donnot think China is a great obstacle. Chinese President Hu Jin Dao said on his official visit to Vietnam last month that China was a great supporter of Vietnam in its effort to be a member of WTO. Moreover, Vietnam and China both have similarities in political mechanism, culture and society. So, why could China join WTO but not Vietnam? It is not fair, isn't it?

China's economy is the 7th in the international market while we're 56th something. Are you still asking for fairness, hung? And I must say, China is never a supporter of Vietnam. They either want to conquer us or they want us on their side so they won't lose another communist country. That's all.

Either this website post wrong information or what I read is right. Any more questions about this, sir?

Well, as far as I know, it's a never. I don't see there is a point for them to support us if they have no purpose. And tell me when is the last "sometimes" that they supported us without a purpose? Or without one of the two purposes I said in my post? I'm really curious to know since I don't trust communist countries. Bunch of liars. :x

Lucky to me, I found your mistake. The post is right but the figure you gave is not very right. Vietnam's economy is going to be the 56th largest one in the world in the future but not now. We are 57th now
Anyways, I am very admire your knowledge. Thanks for all what you helped me.

Never I say China helps Vietnam without any of their purposes. Not only China is that but we are all, as well.
