More understanding of China about media freedom

I'm a boy coming from Hong Kong. After the handover from UK to China, Hong Kong students still have nothing idea about China indeed.

Someone said that the media, such as newspaper, CCTV, in China are deeply controlled and superivsed by our country due to blocking the infromation delivery which endanger the archon 's right. Is it true?

I believe all countries try to control the press in one way or another. For some you could see it through, and for some they do it in the background that you feel like they don't. That's how they try to make you feel like, so they won't be called as violating-others-rights people.
