They're from the same root, that's what I've heard of. Japanese borrowed a lot of words from Chinese. I like their Hiragana writing system better because it looks more like Japanese than Kana or Kanji writing systems. These two systems have a lot of Chinese borrowed words. And Chinese is hard to learn to me although learning those system could benefit me in a way, which I could understand both Chinese and Japanese.

Hi, mr_Love

I know some of Korean, which has some words containing similar pronanciation to those of Japan. But Kanji( For Chinese and Japanese) and Hangul letters (For Korea) are totally different. And as LennyeTran says Chinese is difficult to learn for Japanese also, because Chinese and English has similar gramatical structure, but Hangul and Japanese has different from them.
One of my friends who speaks Korean fruently says that it was easier to learn Korean than Chinese because Japanese and Korean has simlar gramatical structure apart from the letters.

I like Hiragana more than Kanji.Because Hiragana is really Japanese language.I also heard that Japanese and Korian languages borrow words of China. Before,Vietnam also uses letter of China. We still use its meanings in new words although we don't use its letters.

Now that I understand what you exactly want to know.... :) well China, Japan, Korea has their own languages respectively, even if we live in Asia, so you should learn each languages when you want to travel. We don't have any cross-regional languages, unfortunately.
Study hard because you are still young :!:
