Well, I've been wanting to go back next year, but I'll have to see how things turn out. It's because I've also been wanting to travel around Asia or Europe. There's a tour package to China that is only 2K or some; therefore, I would like to go there. It covers several cities of China. And the Great Wall will definitely be on the list. I'm thinking I should visit it before it'll get ruined down. Or I might join my friends to backpack with them around Europe. We will see.....

The Great Wall ruined? I don't think that will be in your lifetime. 2000 for a guided tour through China? That doesn't include the plane ticket there, right?

To China, not through. It's a big difference there. My grandma has done it twice. She went to several cities of China. They paid for plane ticket and hotels (didn't include food, though.)And yes, there are news that some parts of the Great Wall are in major damage because people keep taking bricks from the Wall. If they don't realize they're destroying their own treasure, it will be gone pretty soon.

It is said that there are enough bricks in the Great wall to circle the Earth 5 times at the equator. Uhh...that'd be a lot of stealing. But anyhow, I want to see Beijing as well. Come to think of it, if I have enough money, I will most definitely make that part of my itinerary.

2K for airfare, hotels and guides? Wow, that is so cheap it should be illegal. However, I'm not a big tour guide kind of person. Btw, how long is the tour anyway?

China- 8 days to Beijing, Wuxi, Suzhou, Shanghai 8) and there are other agencies that have other places. The tour usually only lasts about a week. It's not that cheap come to think of it. Right? Anyway, I'm only interested in a tour that includes Hong Kong. I don't know Chinese, so I need to be on a tour to go to Hong Kong; otherwise, I have to stop in Vietnam first, then take my cousin with me to Hong Kong--he knows Chinese. I won't feel lost if I have someone who knows the language to go with me.
