I see ..*shook her head as sighed a little* Lenny , Cara , i guess the documentary that you are talking about probably has been made about some local tribes who are living in the eastern part side of IRAN in the heart of the nature , these people have lived like this for over thousands years, free and away from big cities , but they are only a very little part of our nation , our population is near 65 million ( i am not sure about the correct number tho but i believe it should be even more) and too many great cities , like Tehran , the capitol of IRAN , which is one of the biggest and most advanced cities in middle east ..
the way you were describing IRAN is look like i say USA is only the country of cowboys and cattlemen , people riding on horses and shooting each others by shotguns in streets and bars !! ( no offence , just trying to give a sample here  )
anyway , i hope you like checking these links and see the secret beauty of a lovely country which have been hidden behind the veils of ignorance and negative propaganda .. Enjoy !

Exactly! He asked for what I thought about Iran, and those were what I thought after watching the documentary and could remember. Of course, that domentary only showed some parts of Iran, and those parts had different cultural practice than other places in Iran, which were related to the topics that were in my book. Did I need to cite a whole history page of Iran to make me sound smart and unprejudiced to you all? I'm tired of citing everything and then getting scolds from others for being 'know it all'. He asked for what I thought, and I gave you all what I thought at that moment. Whatever I wrote in my post is only a part of Iran, however, it doesn't meant it's not true. By the way, I used probably. *pouting....*

Nope, I have not ever been to any parts of Iran. You asked me for what I thought, and I gave you what I thought. Maybe I should have thought more is that what you're wanting from me? I've been trying to participate in your topics with positive attitude, but this is what you're giving me? I do not appreciate people who give me capilital letters where they don't belong. This is it. Thank you for reading my posts. This is the last time I post in your topics.

*nods* Bene , i got your point Cara but to be honest you cant expect from others to sit and watch you silently when you are throwing a sarcastic comment at what is probably is very important to them. ofcourse what you had seen in that documentary was right but i am talking about your tone and how you were mentioning to these facts , how you summarized and related a few facts to whole of a nation .. (LOL , i know to some of our friends here i am sounding too traditional  ) using of adverb probably wont change any thing much here just gives you an excuse to shout at us and point a finger at me that i had been overwhelmed and overreacted , right ? i can understand what you mean by saying Being tired of citing every thing and getting scolds from others , same here ..

I am really sorry to hear this , we could talk about many things and it was my great pleasure to show some beautiful places of my country to you , some places more intersting than what you had seen at that documentary but if this is your choice , so be it .. *shrugs *

Okay, if you had a problem with me, you could say it in English since I understood English and not your language. Speaking your mother tongue to a person who doesn't understand it is impolite. I thought this fact was well-understood, but apparently it's not to all.

 Are you kidding me with this, Anahita? My atttitude, my tone, my sarcastic comments? Tell me when I gave you and that guy an attitude, rudeness in my tone, and my sarcastic comments in my first post???? I've told you in my previous post that I was trying to participate in this topic based on what I thought and remembered at the time when I was reading it. I was tired of citing a whole wikipedia page to impress you all. Therefore, I just wrote what I remembered and knew of. I knew it was just a part of it, and there would be people who tell me more about Iran, but I did not know there would be people who threw attitude at me. If you think I was giving you an attitude or sarcastic comments, you should know I don't start things if someone started it with me. I'm always in a defensive position when I think someone is giving me an attitude. You wrote, "raised her eye brow and sighted heavily," "shook her head as sighed a little" and that imanakbar guy gave me all his capitalized letters to make his points that I should shut up about Iran because I've never been there. Talking about attitude! Now I'm shaking my head and sighing a little. Gosh, just a little thing and it's blown out of proportion....

I don't mind discussing it with you, but not with imanakbar if he continues giving me his capitalized letters. I do not appreciate people giving capitalized letters because it shows attitude.

What the heck is that? Anyway, I don't care. I've told you my point. You should know it by now that it's rude to say something in your language to someone who doesn't understand it without that person asking you to speak your language.
