A few days ago my English teacher from England said,"Before I came to China,my friend tried to persuade me to give up the journey.He thought I would be SHOT if I said something wrong here in China."I found it really funny and surprising.Is this what foreigners think of China?
1.What words or phrases can be used to describe China,do you think?
2.What is the first thing coming into your mind when you think of China?
3.What do you hear about China everyday?(Everyone in China is in danger of being shot at any time?!) I'm really looking forward to hearing your voice.

lol.. whiteowl.. your statements and questions about china are really indeed very interesting.

As to myself, china is indeed an amazing country with long history and culture. I came to china recently and i found that it's indeed very safe to travel there. Perhaps you should tell your teacher and ask him to stop watching movies about china.

Well, in short, to answer your questions:
1. Only two words i will use to describe this country: amazing and remarkable.

2. Well, first thing is food. Second is the great wall. Third is the forbidden city. Fourth is people (but excluding people who live in big cities such as beijing, shang-hai, etc as for me, they are very rude and money oriented).

3. The answer for this question is economy. China and economy are two words which seem inseparable.

Unfortunately, i also heard some bad news about follower of Fa-Lun-Da-Fa (i dont know how to write this but i believe you know what i am talking about). I have no idea about this but there are many bad news on how badly Chinese government treats followers of this "religion". Really sorry to hear about that.
