We are living in a society of liars. Your are liars, and me too. In this society, your positions, your fames and your promotions all base on your lying skills.
Indeed, we are lying about our feelings, our thought, and more important, we are lying ourselves. In your office, you may call your managers "sir", "madam", however, when you are at home you may tell your wife "I donot understand how such a stupid man can be my boss". But you have to confess that he is better at lying than you. You may striving to become a communist so that you can be easily promoted in your work while you never belive in communism. Whenever you ask yourself why? Why we have to lie our selves? It is because of the society we are living. All people around us are liars so we have to be.
The hierarchy of liars is like the strata of their social position, so the biggest liar is the man who has the most power in the country. Fact proves it. In recent years, many scandals in the govermental apparatus were found, many fields, branches under the direct control of government were involved (oil, contruction, sport, ...), some officials were arrested, the few fled to other countries. But there still people who have main responsiblities till be in their functions. They are big liars. A minister said that he didnot know anything about the wrongdoings in his ministry (His vice minister and the director of the company he used to be the leader have arrested because of their wrongdoings). Another minister said he had no responsibility for what his subsidies had done. They are all innocent, and their higher authorities are more innocent.
In the final report on VN's economy in the year 2005, Mr.PM was boastful about what he called "the Government and Party's bright achievements", in which, the GDP increased 8.4%. Do you know how many percent of that is from selling rude oil, coal, wood exporting ...? The government is selling our natural resources and they say it is their "great bright achievements".
Vietnam is a poor coutry, most of Vietnamese living less than 1 dollar a day, meanwhile the others, some governmental officials and their children spend money from National Budget without thinking. They have big villas, possess many value assets, have colossal amount of money in foreign banks ... How can they get them? They say only by their saclaries or extra-money they got from their families' honest business. Do you believe?
From all of that we easily see the role of government. They couldnt manage the country. They are the biggest liars (But they also are MEN WHO MUST NOT BE NAMED).

I agree with you they're all lied ...They always say everything for people but the people have nothing and they have everything ....I wonder how many thousand years the VN government change ...

Russia, Indonesia, Venezuella, many Arabian nations and others sell their oild. So, why Vietnam don't???

What I wanna say is how VN's government is using its natural resources, particularly rude oil. It sells rude oil for very cheap price and imports refined oil "up to heaven". In fact, we are building an oil refinery in Dung Quat, but it is unproductive and the government is wasting money, as all people know, because of some individual wrongs. The question is that who should be blamed for?

Embezzlements of public property is a common terrible disease many countries. It do harm the national economics and could scatter a society. I agree with you that If Vietnam want to become a rich industrilized country, it should eliminate corruption.
Anyway, if you ask me " Who is the biggest liar?" , I think: It's President BUSH of USA. He told lies his people when decide to attack Iraq ( and the next victim may be Iran). Many people ( includes American soldiers) died of his theory " BLOOD for OIL"
Bush promised to do many things for american. Then, he do nothing to stop joblessness, crime, racical discrimination..... but throw thousand millions into ~ wars...[/b]

You know that you can blame everything on Bush. Such as globe warming, world poverty, air pollution, religions conflict, western culture influence and what else... oh yeah, HIV/AIDS. Yep! Just blame everything bad around the world on him then you’re all set.

Yeah, the Dung Quat factory should be build earlier and should be used effectively for the community's benefit.
Corruption should be eliminate. Industrilization and modernization should be speed up. We believe that some bad people couldn't prevent the whole country from walking to success.
