Expat community in Bangkok?

Could anyone please tell me how I can meet other expats in Bangkok?

I'm an American citizen who will be living in Thailand for a year. I would like to find out where most of the expats live, hangout, and socialize. Thanks.

dunno...but have a great time...be patient someone will answer if they know...I will try to get them over here (by replying) you are so lucky to be traveling i envy you ...but in a nice way!
I would do other research though because people in here may not have an answer to this one.
