Postby jayking » Thu Jun 08, 2006 7:32 am

I’m an undergraduate in China. I always want to know how do your foreigners think about china.
Do you know China well? Do you know the circumstance of China? THANKS

China... uum, don't take it the wrong way but I always thought China was full of uptight people. Many focused on work and making money. When I imagine China in my mind I think of men in green uniforms and the person standing in front of the tank --> strong image. Now sometimes I think of pop stars singing and dramas. Then I ask myself: is taiwan part of China? Then I say to myself.. 'if it is then I like china for making good dramas'... and then my mind wanders off. ;P

ha,It's funny of you.that's the china in 1970s.
I think most of foreigners don't know china well. It's a pity. compared with many westen countries china is poor and not well developed. And there are many disadvantages of its development .sometimes I feel sorrow, however,I love my country.I hope her will be more beautiful and strong.

most foreigners imagine china in that way. in their eyes, china are very crowed and far behind the modern time. chinese people with dark blue suits buttoned to the very top of the throat are seen everywhere. and especially the farmers (not like those in developped countries with their advanced agricultral equipments) are so poor and uncultivated. yes, it happened to be true in those years, but now, everything is quite different. onbody can expect such a great change from china, esp the countryside. just hoping that foreigners could change that point of view.

I think China, SO i am

Postby bettermangao » Sun Oct 15, 2006 8:04 am

For me ,china is a fusion of soul and body and she has become one part of my as a wholeness. it saturated into every part of my soul. so i have no chance abandoning her.But she is sick and very ill.so for a philosopher the main task is to thinking and by his thought healing china and them make her healthy. that's the question and the answer would not be 'love' or 'dislkie' and so on.
