chacha for good or not?

I wanted to be lawyer, debating over issues and issues. But that's quite impossible now..

Anyways, I wanna talk about politics...

Charter change or mostly known as Chacha had been a constant issue since President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo sat as head of state.
This issue had been deliberated, debated by different sectors, majority and minority.
While the president is very eager and very vocal about her positive perception of cha-cha, the opposition (I don't now which, since you can't recognize the true opposition) are trying to block it.

Well, that's the issue.
Just recently, the pro-cha-cha launch a people's initiative thingy where they need to have atleast 12million registered voters to sign.

Ok, I think that would be a great idea. The people were given the chance to voice out what they have to say. And atleast, they're part of it since it's really the citizens who make up the country.
But what is lacking is the information dessimination.
Yes, the people are signing, but do they know what they are signing for?
I think before it was done, the should have acquainted the people what is chacha.

I don't know if chacha is for good and for the benefit of the many. But one thing is for sure. Deliberation about chacha in the congress eats a lot of time. Time which could have been essential in making or passing bills for the prosperity of the country.
