A Crazy Fan!

Postby MissLT » Fri Apr 06, 2007 12:32 am

What a nut!

On March 27, 2007, Yang ended his life by jumping into the Salisbury sea in Hong Kong, one day after he managed to help his 29-year-old daughter meet her icon, Hong Kong pop star Andy Lau, leaving a posthumous letter pleading Lau to meet his daughter for another time, reported sina.com, a leading Chinese web portal.

Man, I was shocked and scared while reading this news. I feel really sorry for him. This girl is such an insane stalker!

These days the story about her is a usual topic of most newspapers!
As I know, she has idolized Andy Lau since she first saw him acting on TV, at that time she was 16. Then she dropped out of school to search for and watch his movies.
This fan is really fanatic, but her father is more illogical when sacrificing so much like that!

Yeah, it's strange that the parents didn't know how to say NO to the daughter. She was supposed to get help from a psychologist since she has obsessive compulsive disorder, OCD. Instead of pleasing her, they shoulda helped her to overcome her OCD.

Generally speaking, i am sure that normal parents would not do this. This family should be in mental hospital, as they have serious mental problems. By the way, I quite like the newspaper discription "die hard fans" HAHA :D

Andy Lau said that he will not meet her. I think he is right.

Exactly! Last time I heard she said in her latest news she wasn't mental and people should stop thinking about her as one. I have to say her problem is getting worse now. Not only she has OCD she's now delusional?

Yeah, he has every right to do so. It would have freaked me out also if someone loved me that much without knowing a thing about me beside my career. Can you imagine someone out there would stalk and threaten you to meet them because they love you? That's not love! If you love someone, you don't scare that person.
