I would consider Indonesia a high risk country especially since I have heard of certain Indonesians who consider the northern parts of Australia "Indonesian property."

First of all, I believe most of Indonesian are innocent.

I believe that most people, not only Indonesians, are basically nice and innocent.

However, since I have heard a lot of violent and riot against local Chinese stores and even the local Indonesian, these voilent events gave me a very very negative impression about this country.

Some news was correct but some was misleading. The situation then was very complicated. It was about politics. The rumour says that some international agents such as CIA involved in this bad situation. I don't want to scapegoat other countries. I just wanna say that the situation then was not that simple.

Misleading. There was no such a brutality happened.

True. But again, it's about politics. We don't know who played this game. Who was behind this scenario is everybody’s question.

I pray for the people who participated in the riot happened in Indonesia, because their spirit will have to locked in the hell and sustain the hell fire forever.

I hope the corruptors who flew to other countries such as the USA, Singapora, etc with the illegal money just come back to Indonesia and return the stolen money. The money doesn’t belong to them, it belongs to the people of Indonesia. And I hope the countries where the corruptors are staying extradite the corruptors back to Indonesia so that we can prosecute them impartially. Don’t protect corruptors.

Dear friends and those who care at all about Indonesia,
If you believe everything what people say and especially what the press says about any country or nation, then we will not be visiting that country at all and will be biased against that country/nation. If I believe what I hear about USA, Australia, Germany, England, then I will never have visited those countries. Ignorance and hearsay are two culprits creating animosity between peoples. I hope that if you consider yourself intelligent, then check and recheck the info yourselves either through embassies or friends in said countries. Best is to visit the country in question and see for yourselves. In every country we have bad guys and they are mostly a minority. Indonesia has its share of sad episodes just like any other nation but majority of its people, including myself of course, are trying hard to make the country and nation a livable place for all citizens of the world.
I am inviting Chet Baker, Danyet, and all other Indonesians who have not returned to Indonesia for all these years to come over and visit me in Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia. I will be happy to be your host and show you our hospitality. THE REAL INDONESIA.
