Vietnamese tutoring in Hanoi

Postby linly » Tue Dec 14, 2004 4:11 pm

Hi everyone,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
What will you do for the next year? Are you planning to study Vietnamese? If you are, then you meet the right person :). I am third year student at Hanoi University of Foreign Studies and I offer Vietnamese tutor at a very reasonable price, $7 per hour, and with an excellent quality.
I major in linguistics at the university so you can be sure that I am very fluent in Vietnamese.
If you are in Hanoi and want to study Vietnamese, contact me via this email address meomuop295@yahoo.com and leave me your phone number, I will call you.
Thank you for your reading,
:)

hahha, being planning to study Vietnamese with the simple reason: meet the right person. and that's all? hhah, it's so funny.
ohh, you can get much of money from teaching Vietnamese tutor, hii, ohhh, with that salary you offered, I think that you will be very rich next year and don't forget me at that time
Are you okay? haha,

Hi giovabien,
My ads is funny, isn't it? I am not used to writing that kind of ads any way :( I just put some sentences to make it more .... noticeable ... you know.
Anyway, you make me feel very uncomfortable when you consider it a joke and laugh at me like that. :(
Do you think the price I offered is too high? I offered that price because I think we should appreciate Vietnamese as much as we appreciate English. I have to study English at the price of $20 per hour :evil However if you think noone is gonna hire me at that price I will reduce it to $7 per hour ;) Of course it is not because I don't appreciate Vietnamese it is just because I am really short of money right now. I've got a ton of bills coming up at the end of every month, internet bill, mobifonebill and etc :( I hate having to ask for the money from my parents. With all of those bills I don't think I will be rich as you wish, the money is going very soon.
Anyway, I got my first student. Unfortunately, it is not someone who reads this ads, my cousin introduced this student to me. And I found out that teaching Vietnamese is very interesting and you will have a chance to know that there are many things about Vietnamese you didn't know such as the language history, grammar, slang... I have to prepare all of these very carefully to answer the questions from my curious student 8)

Maybe you should learn how to write before you begin teaching. Most intermediate students write better than your grammatically foul run-on offering.

Try again. Maybe you thought it didn't matter and that we would give advice no matter how lazy your writing appears to be. Serious teachers get serious advice.

He's right. Those who want to teach English should be
held to a higher standard in their communication.
