I AM very adventurous when it comes to eating ....

Buut...... unfortunately I don't remember the names of the food I eat ... (Well, unlike medieval knights who usually ask "May I know your name, kind Sir, to write on the headstone of your grave after I stab you with my sword.." ) .... so,... I know I have eaten many kind of dim sums since the day I knew it about fifteen years back ...

My fave dim sum is the "squid-rings" ... It is made of squid sliced into the forms of rings, then it is stuffed with shrimps ...
Hmmmmmmm....... hao zhi ... hao zhi ....
Then the chicken fillet with duck egg dumpling ..... WoooooW!!!!

I don't know why some of you call dim sum "oily" ... The dim sums I know are steamed in small baskets. A portion comes in a basket of 4 pieces of items.

I would say it's not the cheapest menu here where I am, but it is worth it. It is much much worth it than Big Mac ......

Well,... Chinese food is on the list of my diet anyway. If it is more than a week I do not eat Chinese food,.. the worms in my stomach will start their street protests inside there .... carrying big posters saying "Feed Us Chinese"

So, yes,... I Love Dim Sum ........

Does it mean "cake"?

In Mandarin, we call call as Dian Xin.
In Cantonese, we call it as Dim Sum.

Dim sum is the name for a Chinese cuisine which involves a wide range of light dishes served along with Chinese tea. Dishes may include meat, seafood, and vegetable. Usually served in a small steamer basket or on a small plate (mostly contain 3 pieces/4 pieces/5 pieces).
Thanks~
