Thanks cooec,

It will take me some time too, to collect strength, to construct comments in words......

Meanwhile, I bring the struggle into my prayers....

God bless Tibet.

WATCH THE VIDEO THEN SPEAK, please.

I repeat, and I will repeat it just this time only. You will not get the chance to say this to me again from now on, or you'll remain an ignorant. I DID WATCH the frigging video before I opened my mouth. And I will watch or check whatever you provide here before I open my mouth to speak my opinion. Are we clear on this?????

cooec wrote:china does have many problems, but that's not the decent reason to make FAKE news.

How sure are you to say those were fake? You know about it just as much as I do, which means knowing nothing. I've seen evidence provided by both sides that either one is lying. Who's to trust? No one!!! As long as you did not and/or do not witness it (being a Tibetan or Chinese in Tibet or Chinese soldier) you do not know what is the truth.

The only truth left is that Tibetans are being tortured by your government. Their culture is being Hanified.

politics never been simple as u think.

Shame on you to believe the otherwise!

cooec wrote:Dalai Lama was the biggest master owning serfs before he escaped from tibet at 50's last century.

You're being brainwashed by your government, the one that has the nerve to call Dalai Lama a liar. He's a liar???? Let me tell you one thing, if your government doesn't get its ~ straight and start your ~ with Dalai Lama, you're going down for sure. You don't recognize the power and impact he's made on others. You're dealing with him, you're dealing with the world.

It's not a surprise that you haven't had a chance to see the other side of the story. Your government authorize the press and only provide you what they think you should know about the government and/or the world. Surprisingly, they allow you to have maybe almost to full access to porno sites, yet Google, Youtube, Yahoo, etc. are authorized. Good luck living in China.

Here's what I was talking about,

http://www.voanews.com/english/2008-04-01-voa51.cfm
China's Public Security Ministry spokesman, Wu Heping told reporters in Beijing Tuesday that the next plan of Tibetan independence forces was to organize suicide squads.

Wu did not elaborate. But he did blame the Dalai Lama for recent outbreaks of violence that have spread from the Tibetan capital, Lhasa, to other Tibetan areas in China.

Tibet's government in exile has also denied China's claims, and voiced its concern that Chinese may disguise themselves as Tibetans and plan attacks to discredit Tibet activists.

They're being identified as Nepalese policemen in the picture. Therefore, it means some sources got it right, unlike the one you had as an example in the video clip, which also means you have to look out for all sources. Trusting one and bashing another is ignorant.

You can search for the image of Chinese soldiers posing as Tibetan monks during the riots on any site and you'll see what comes up. Some people say the picture is fake since it's taken from a movie or whatever. Some say it's real. It's up to you to form your own opinion.

Shall I provide any more sites for you?

I totally understand. All the links I provided are accessible at my end. I think some people (not in China, perhaps???) here can back me up if they ever check them links out. Your government has blocked the Internet connection in Tibet, I don't see why they would allow you to have full access and see what the "Western world" are saying about you guys. All the comments you see at Youtube I think are from Chinese students who study abroad. Unfortunately, those kids know nothing about the real history of China and Tibet. What they know is what your government want them to know, which is the same thing as Chinese in China know. My born-in-the-States Chinese friends here don't protest to be pro-China. They're skeptical of what the Chinese government has announced to the world.

Nail on the head.

I'm an American living in China and the media is very controlled and censored here.

Chinese people don't really have any access to Western media at all aside from what the Chinese government releases whereas in most other countries we can access both sides and draw our own conclusions rather than be told what to believe.

Same with Vietnam, BAF. I don't even know what a real theory of Communism anymore, but for some reason all the Communist countries in the world share the same practice, which is really disgusting to me, suppression. I just read the news yesterday or two days ago about British reporters were arrested, one reporter's hands were stomped on because they recorded the Tibet protest near the Olympic Park.
