Do you need a degree to teach in asia?

Postby Richiewales » Fri Apr 03, 2009 4:35 pm

Hi. I'm Richard, I am currently doing the online TEFL course of 100 hours. I eventually want to work in Asia. Have no preference of a country really. I am just wondering if you need a uni degree of some kind? I don't have one

Many thanks
Richard

hi richard..
it depends on the country,,
but if you wanna have a job in asia..
probably, china and indonesia will allow you without a degree,
especially if you are excellent in english, you can be native speaker there,
i have ever been in a course place who have native speakers,
i thought they don't have degree in their education,
you can use visa for holidays there and then you can apply for a job.
you must better quickly to find it,
but it's better if you have friends there, so they will help you for the risk living there
