Shaving in China

I feel a bit ignorant asking this, but I guess that's why I am asking: I am hoping to leave for China this spring - will I need to pack a lot of shaving cream and razors? Also, I have a mustache/goatee that is professional, but I have read somewhere that teachers need to be clean shaven. Can anyone help me out with this?
