Do you know "Kosupure"?

Postby Sachiho » Tue Dec 07, 2010 4:55 am

Hello!

I live in Japan.
I love animation and comics!
Do you like in about kind of characters in anime do you like?
In Japan, many fans pretend to be of the animated cartoon characters.
We call it "Kosupure" in Japan.
"kosupure" is the abbreviation of costume player.
I was surprised to know that some people are in handmade clothes.
And the high quality of the clothes is amazing.

What do you think of it?

I know it. I have seen in internet and Anime. In English it's also called "cosplay". The English word cosplay comes from Japanese abbreviation "kosupure" ..I think.

I never tried it, but I think I would like to try..
Unfortunately, I think, I wouldn't be able to impersonate any of my favorite anime characters well. Since they are more cool and beautiful. And some of them are girls.. Then I should crossplay instead of cosplay and that's even more difficult. ^_^
