esin and teomansert, since you guys want to introduce your country for us, you are supposed to do it in a calm mood, instead of getting furious for some friendly joke. and if you guys were self-confident enough, you would have told us what you thought in some language we could understand.

however, on the total thread about Turkey, you guys didn't geographically or historically introduce your motherland. we just saw you guys' twisting faces and confusing Turkish characters. Both impressed us with some awful impressions.

so according to what esin and teomansert impressed us, I just feel Turkey is a sensitive country. but maybe that is just a misconception. I shouldn't compare Turkey with esin and teomansert. maybe they are different. who knows?

look redrose if you had acted to us kindly, we would have acted you same ways.
but firstly you made disrespect us
and i wanna a question to u
what we made in past to u and why did u say to us 'Both impressed them with some awful impressions.'

Look, Esin,

First of all, you asked if we liked turkey. Turkey is a kind of food.

Second, if you meant Turkey the country, you could have used capital letters ;) It was so easy to make a joke about it...

Third, this is a forum for English learners and teachers. So, we use only English here and you should respect that.

Fourth, people were just making little jokes here. Nobody meant no harm so please don't get so upset.

And finally... could you introduce us to the beautiful country of Turkey? ;)

To be honest Dixie I am not sure most of use care to know now. I bet we will find other sources of information about Turkey. My friends went there on a honeymoon and loved it ...I will just ask them rather than be preached to by overly enthusiastic natives.

firstly, you made a typo(turkey), that is why people made some friendly jokes on it. but you guys are too sensitive to take people's friendly joke. I read the total thread in detail, I didn't find any malice from other members. and you didn't tell us about Turkey in detail, instead, you guys input some language that we couldn't understand, and you kept raving and repining all the time for some trifles. that impressed us with some negative impressions.

as idalia said, people here like to be funny. if you are over-sensitive, then you have to manage to get a little more strong.

for example, if people tell me, Redrose, your country is a china on which we put some food. I won't get mad at people comparing china with China. because that isn't malice.

as situation, Turkey is a wonderful country. it has a lot of beauties.if necessary to arrange in order:
it has a lot of ancient ruins, has 4seas around it,has natural beauties, has one of the 7 wonders of world called PERI BACALARI (fairy chimneys).
besides, it has two important bridges called CANAKKALE BOGAZI (CANAKKALE PASS) and ISTANBUL BOGAZI (ISTANBUL PASS). this bridges very important for us.
after, you can live 4 seasons all together. for example in summer you can swim in the mediterranean sea (south) and you can iceski in the Marmara at Uludag(mountain) (north). and you can live the other season (spring and autumn) other areas (the east and the west)
and also there are a lot of things in Turkey. i think everybody muts see the Turkey , for this reason, I INVITE ALL OF YOU TO TURKEY. c'mon im waiting you
