Venice, a romantic dream!

Postby RedRose » Mon May 02, 2005 9:50 am

I bet, in the world, nobody won't yearn for Venice.

Imagine you live on the surface of full water; you visist your friends or your siblings by a Gondola; you boat to your lover's house to call her name on water; when you sing for your girlfriend, the sounds of water wave accompanies your singing; and your gf smile to you from her window....

oh, amazing! everything is so romantic in Venice.

when I am reminded of Europe, I always imagine Venice in the first place. sadly, I have never been in Venice. so she is my biggest travel dream, my romantic Venice!

When I arrived in Venice, it was raining and very cold. We went for a quick walk in the city but it was too cold. We headed for our hotel. It was crowded with French students. It was a really funny night. We just arrived from Rome and were exhausted, but we went out to the balcony and met some French students. We invited them to our room. We were chatted all night...

In the morning it was sunny :!: Venice was so nice... I will scan some pictures when I find them... The channels... Piazza San Marco... I remember a big restaurant with a big piano outside and a man playing... Masks... Gondolas... stinky channels... I'd love to go back.

If some of you will ever come (or return) to Venice, I will be your guide (I will never be tired of walking in Venice). I know a couple of nice small restaurants there, and I also have a friend that is born in Venice (she is always giving me good advices about her town)... :D

wow,! you must have been in Venice! no wonder you are so romantic, even kinda perverted  imagine...i guy living on water wave.... it is hard for this guy NOT to get romantic.

and Dixie, I admire you, you have been in Venice! now I know why I lack some kind of Europern romantic characteristics, it is just because I have never been in Venice! sigh!

Sigh! what is the the difference between romantic people and insensitive ones?

for example, when a romantic guy wants to ask a pretty girl out, he ususally says:"honey, your cute eyes always arouse my fancy, and your stunning cheek always reminds me of a cute apple... I wonder how you will look like under a candlepower? actually I have already imagine that scene for many times...now would you like to a candle-light dinner with me? "
but on the same occasion, an insensitive guy usually says:"girl, you are so sexy. your eyes are sexual, your ass looks more attractive than Marilyn Monroe's ass...how about having a candle-light dinner with me in a hotel, that way we can do whatever we want after dinner!"

ok, guys, now do you know what "romantic" means?

anyway, Venice means Romantic in my mind.

I'd love to go to Venice it is one of my dreams but not only that place, I mean the whole Italy is a romantic country, in my opinion of course, its cities, language, people, music.

I'd get crazy if I had the chance to go there ;) ;)

yeah, Italy always reminds people of something romantic and art-atmosphered.

and Italian soccer is gorgeous. actually, I am not a fan of football, but I like to watch German football team and Italian football team play football. the only reason is that German football athletes and Italian athletes are sexy and handsome.
