Im from Northern Ireland but have been living in Turkey for 5 years.
Ive never heard many negative comments about turkish people but we all know that France and Turkey have had a falling out over the Albanian issue so maybe that is why your sister was spoken to in that way Tj.

Hi, I am from Turkey, Aydın. I have been in Italy, Greece and France for a trip related to the folk dances and festivals. I liked these 3 countries so much but i couldn't feel relaxed and happy as I was in my own country. :) Turkey includes many natural beauties in itself and pleasant traditions like wedding ceremonies, bayrams, special days to strenghten the relationship among friends, neighbourhood, relatives etc..
