Hi Anzal

If you want visit Europe and to see all the interesting places, you need a lot of time.
I'm living in Switzerland and I haven't visited all nice places in my country. We have the most beautiful mountains in Europe. (I'm sure a frenshman would say the same ;-) So you have to visit both parts of the alps to make a serious decicion.
In what season you'll visit Europe? Best time to visit depends from what you want to see. We have only a few places with snow in summertime. At the moment we have some, but they are shrinking.
To talk about the culture is also divicult. From the Finnland in the north to Italy or Greece on the other end it is a huge diverence.
The same is for the places. In what to see are you interestet? We have rugged coast, hight mountains, beautifull lakes, verry interesting Cities and villages. And lots more.
You must now, Europe has an verry old culture, as ald as America. But we don't need other cultures to destroy our civilization. We tryed it by our self in World War I and World War II. Most of the ancient and destroyed places are rebuild and give a good view of the buildings in the later middle age. For example have a look at Nürnberg.
You an see old castles. Scotland has a lot of them. But you'll find them everyvere in Europe.
To have an Idee over the places in Switzerland, visit: http://www.myswitzerland.com/en.cfm/home.
You can chosse a lot of languages, if you prefer Spain or Portuguese. I don't know what's the official language in Costa Rica is. Please tell my. I'm allways glad to learn.

Hope this helps a little bit and wish you a nice journey,
Guido

Yes ! Switzerland is a wonderful country !

Specialized seems to be specialized in our country !

Yes, good chocolates, good cheese (Gruyère, Emmental, Tête de moine, Tilsit, tome, vacherin fribourgeois, etc.), our mountains, our democracy, our general abonnement (our public transports network), our languages (especially swiss german  ), ah... our wines !!! (especially in Wallis/Valais  ; but France has also many wines)

We are not so expensive... yes we are... but not as "money-taker" as London or Paris. 8-) [and salary are as higher as prices...] We like ecology and nature (some of us even want to prohibite 4x4). It's not yet prohibited to smoke in public bars/restaurants (only in some cantons) but we are in direction of France, Italy and Spain (and more and more countries)... no smoking... actually we pay attention to our health...

But... we have to be careful... with "bottelón"... this trend wants to come to us... especially with FaceBook... some people had idea to make people together (socialization) without drinking alcohol.

For swiss music... Stefan Eicher, Mani Matter (ded), Patent Ochsner, Lunik, Gotthard, Züri West, The Young Gods... actually... I don't know much music from Switzerland (I know much more music from Quebec, côlisse de tabarnak ! c'es-tu d'la bonne, mets-en !).

En nosotro país hay muchas personas que hablan español... por ejemplo en Friburgo (muchos estudiantes) pero también y otras ciudades... the official languages of Switzerland are german (but you'll here more swiss german [s'git schöni Dialekte, zum bispeu Bärndütsch !] than standard german), french, italian and "romanche" (rumantsch ; no se como se llama en inglés). Finally... if you've not the swiss pass(port)/identity... difficult to find a job.

In France... we hear much about Paris (much to visit !!!) and Strasbourg (with alsacian accent)... I've never visited Marseille... (some people told me good about this city... some others told me bad about...)... Lyon (much traffic... but not as much as in Paris)...

If you visit London, you'll have a mix of culture, education, events and shopping. There's always something hapenning in London and places to go.
Learn English in London or foreign languages in the UK St. George Internationa Language School. http://www.stgeorges.co.uk/
