Hi,

nice photos Oriana! It looks like you are as active person as it's supposed to be at your age.
I hope your guys outplayed US team? :-)

Actually, simultaneus translation (interpretation) is absolutely not for me. I am slow.
I'm not fluent in English. When I said that I was looking for a translator job, I meant just a translation - translating written texts. And once again, I believe that I am too slow, even for this job. Bulky, difficult texts opress my will :-(

Nick, I regard knowing some language as a good reason to try using it. Of course it must be challenging to find your place in a field where you're not a professional. But, in case of translation, there is a niche to get into. After all, it would be well-motivated try. Do you agree?

Andrew, there's a company named LionBridge that recruits different freelancers, including translators. I think you should register in their site if you want to be a text translator.

Yes, I agree that being a translator of written text is more suitable for such kind of people like you and me :)

So, go and take a nap. In Venezuela is barely 8 am, so I am ready to have breakfast now. See you!

After 5:30 am I can't sleep anymore. I am so used to waking up early to go to work and when I was a student, I needed to be awake by 5:00 am to get ready, have breakfast and take the bus. Yes... my biological clock does not allow me to sleep longer...

Why don't you give me yours?
By the way, we are narrow this topic to an off one. What can you tell me about the Russian language? Is it difficult to learn it? I do not understand anything. It uses a total different alphabet from the one we use in Spanish or English.
I've got a former classmate that she is in Russia now; I think she is getting married, but honestly I don't even know how she met him. I think he was in Venezuela for holidays...
